Kamal Orthopedic Hospital – Reception (Information Desk) Responsibilities

  1. Welcoming visitors: Greeting patients and their companions upon arrival at the clinic/hospital.
  2. Patient guidance: Directing patients to different departments (such as clinics, laboratory, emergency, pharmacy, accounting, etc.).
  3. Patient registration: Collecting and accurately recording patient information in the system or registration log (name, age, contact number, related physician, etc.).
  4. Appointment scheduling: Arranging patient appointments for doctors, examinations, and other services.
  5. Answering inquiries: Responding to phone calls and in-person questions regarding hospital services, prices, working hours, and department locations.
  6. Interdepartmental coordination: Maintaining regular communication between patients and various departments to prevent confusion or delays.
  7. File management: Organizing and transferring patient files and documents to the relevant departments.
  8. Handling initial complaints: Receiving and forwarding patients’ complaints or suggestions to the responsible authorities.
  9. Professional conduct: Observing work ethics and maintaining respectful and polite behavior toward patients and visitors.
  10. Patient privacy: Protecting patients’ personal and medical information and preventing unauthorized disclosure.
  11. Waiting area supervision: Managing patient flow, maintaining calmness, and ensuring cleanliness in the reception/waiting area.
  12. Financial support: Cooperating with the finance department in fee payments, issuing receipts, and referring patients to accounting when needed.
